Tim Wigmore is a sports journalist for The Daily Telegraph, and has also written for ESPN, The New York Times, The Economist and The New Statesman.
Tim writes on the business and politics of sports, the globalisation of sport and sports science and analytics. He writing has covered a wide range of sports, but especially cricket and football.
His first book, Second XI: Cricket In Its Outposts, was selected as one of The Guardian's sports books of the year for 2015. His second book, Cricket 2.0: Inside the T20 Revolution, is out in October 2019.
Tim is a former winner of the CMJ Young Cricket Journalist of the Year, and runner-up for the Ian Woodbridge Young Sports Writer of the Year award. His first book, Second XI: Cricket in its Outposts, was named one of The Guardian's sports books of the year for 2015.
